For our customer Soleras we are looking for an International Key Account Manager.

Soleras Advanced Coatings is a leading global provider of solutions for the deposition of thin film coatings (components, targets, coaters & software), for example energy efficient glass, thin film display, thin film PV, electrochromics, thin film battery and web coatings. Our products and solutions possess a high degree of complexity while they operate at the heart of the thin film industry. Soleras Advanced Coatings has a global manufacturing footprint with design, R&D, service, and sales organizations spread across the US, Europe and Asia.

How can you make the difference

  • To support their sustainable and growing business opportunities, Soleras is looking to enforce the sales team with an International Key Account Manager for their multinational customers (B2B).
  • By taking responsibility and grow the business at existing and new customers within given geographical regions and end markets.
  • You secure the long-term customer relationships for the recurrent consumables business of targets (used as coating materials), including after sales services.
  • You explore new businesses for the newly developed technologies.
  • Your passion for technology is the driver to identify the opportunities at your customers for new investment or upgrade projects of PVD coating lines.
  • You are working together with various stakeholders (internally and externally) from the identification of the opportunity to the final successful sales closing.
  • You are actively involved and responsible for generating and fulfilling your portion of the business plan.
  • You have the skills to make the customer select Soleras as his key supplier for his large value investment for sputter equipment and coater software.

Preferred qualifications

  • You have a master degree or equivalent and you have minimal 5 years’ experience in a technical and commercial B2B position.
  • You have a commercial attitude, combined with very good technical insight and interest to clearly understand and learn the technical aspects and benefits of our products. This will be fully supported by a dedicated onboarding process. Experience in the domain of Sputter Hardware or the vacuum industry is a plus.
  • You are a hands-on, entrepreneurial team player, working within a global sales team supported by a full technical staff.
  • You are frequently present at the Belgian office and production site. For customer visits you are flexible to travel for ca. 50% of your time (most commonly travel during the working weeks).
  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French language is a plus.
