Job Description

We are currently looking for an IT administrator to reinforce our Internal IT team.

Job description

• Guarantee computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Replace parts as required
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Support the roll-out of new applications
• Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
• Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
• Test and evaluate new technology

Qualifications

• Knowledge on the up-to-date operating system Linux and Windows (Server – Workstation) and Macos
• Knowledge of the Virtualization domain like Hyper-V/KEMU will be considered as an asset.
• Knowledge for the management of the Cloud like Azure – AWS
• Good Knowledge of the network domain especially the Cisco switches and the Ubiquity
• Knowledge of Security concepts and components like Barracuda, Sophos,…
• Knowledge of the storage component like Synology
• Has good experience in the technical coordination (activities definition - planning -…) in an environment (for 500 users)
• Ability to create technical documents that can be clearly understood by readers by presenting useful information that is clear and easy to understand for the intended audience
• Possess the background knowledge and experience to take pragmatic, informed and responsible decisions that are both technical sound and take the needs of the customer fully into account;
• Has good communication skills and speak fluently in Dutch, French and has good command in English
