For our customer we’re looking for a talented IT Technical Manager.

The roles and responsibilities can be grouped as follow:
  • Technical Leadership
  • Team Leadership
  • Pre-Sales and Sales
  • Finance & Administration

Technical Leadership :

The Technical Manager (TM) is the main technical expert in the company. He is the ultimate support for technical issues. Therefore, he must maintain his own knowledge but also increase the knowledge inside his team.
The following points describe in detail the technical competences to develop and maintain:
  • Product Knowledge: the TM maintains and improves his knowledge of the products and solutions.
His focus is primarily on SIG products but also on the solutions delivered by other Divisions; the TM is informed about the product functionalities but has also a good understanding of the technical aspects related to the deployment, configuration, customization and integration of the products mainly used by its customers (U&C related solutions

Team Leadership :

The Technical Manager (TM) is also the leader of his team. In other words, he defines the direction to follow and the technical choices for the next period. He maintains also a good spirit inside his group, listening to the expectations and finding solutions to the problems.
In detail:
  • Lead by example: the TM is an example for his team; he doesn’t do what he won’t accept from his team.

Pre-Sales and Sales
The Technical Manager (TM) is the main partner of the Sale(s)/Account Manager(s). He ensures that the Sales get the necessary information about the available solutions/products and will support them during the pre-sales process.
In detail :
  • Market Trends: the TM understands the local market trends. He’ll work in close contact with the sales in order to ensure that the sales focus is aligned with the current Market needs; he informs the Industry Leads of the market trends and customer requirements in the country

Finance & Administration :
The Technical Manager (TM) has a management role that implies an accurate financial follow-up of the services performed by his team (and himself). He must ensure that all revenues and costs are recognized timely and correctly into the financial systems. The TM is also responsible for the follow-up of customer’s issues and will escalate the problems when necessary.






Requirements

Your background & expérience :

  • min. 10 years expertise and strong team lead experience
  • The candidate will be based in our office at Anderlecht
  • FR + NL or ENG
  • Strong managerial competences and very good knowledge of Utilities and Communication field
  • Role: Technical Leadership, Team Leadership, Pre-Sales and Sales and Finance & Administration
