Purpose
  • Providing high quality education (internally and to HCPs) with a focus on digital interactions.
  • Responsible for designing best in class educational experiences for HCPs and patients
  • Developing existing and new KOLs
  • Support the commercial and marketing departments in developing tools that are differentiating and support the growth of the Business

Major Accountabilities
  • Up to 40% Field Based
  • Identifying educational needs and trends in the HCP spaces in Belgium
  • Scan offering and co-develops solutions in partnerships with third parties (companies, societies, academic centers).
  • and selected Therapy Areas, via different channels
  • Partnering with key HCPs through core medical activities
  • Provide medical support in marketing & sales activities e.g. presentations to KOLs, review of promotional materials, objection handlers etc.
  • In charge of medical training and continuous medical education of field force
  • Work in partnership with marketing and commercial departments to develop and deliver the right educational tools via the right channels to selected HCPs
  • Develops external contacts with KOLs, influencers, key associations, academic and regulatory community to gain insights in market and scientific society
  • Engages HCP’s in non-promotional medical and scientific discussions regarding all on-market and in-development Sandoz products or topics relating to disease states

Minimum requirements

Education & Qualifications
  • Scientific/Medical degree, additional degree would be a plus

Languages
  • Dutch
  • English
  • French

Experiences
  • Minimal 2 years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Digital communication/education experience and having implemented new education programs is preferential
  • Experience in developing partnerships and educational programs

Competencies
  • Agility to cover several different Therapeutical Areas and Specialties
  • Ability to develop / adapt educational programs in a comprehensive and tailored fashion
  • Able in working in a fast-paced work environment
  • Good understanding of Gx industry (e.g. regulatory requirements, BE studies framework)
  • Used to interact with scientific audience and marketing, HCPs & sales people. Has the ability to lead discussions with HCPs while being able to translate it into marketing & sales language and vice versa.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with external experts, physicians and other healthcare decision makers
  • High drive and energy
  • Project Management: Has proven track record of managing projects effectively from A to Z, in time and on budget
  • Internal and external HCP and Patient Focused
  • Priority setting & organization skills
  • Familiar with respective health authority, GCP and ICH requirements, including regulations of promotional materials.
