For a company located in Antwerp we’re looking for an all-round Junior Controller to join their finance department.

We are looking to a high potential who likes to walk the line between accounting and controlling.

The Junior Controller will be responsible for:

  • Preparing, analysing and further developing relevant financial and operational reports
  • Defining reporting structures and KPI’s in consultation with the operational teams
  • Reviewing and optimizing financial flows and procedures
  • Coordinating, supporting and/or executing internal control activities and audits
  • Project-based accounting support in the context of M&A’s and restructuring
  • Support and guidance in the implementation of new software
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts

Profile of ideal Junior Controller:

  • Has a Master’s degree in Finance
  • Has 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Is fluent in Dutch and English
  • Is enthusiastic about new challenges
  • Is an excellent communicator and works well independently as well as in a team
  • Has a good knowledge of Excel and is generally IT-minded
  • Is analytical
  • Is willing to travel abroad occasionally
