The Eurofins SAFER@WORK™ program is designed to help companies set up advanced risk management protocols and contributes to limiting the impact of COVID-19 in the workplace. Eurofins SAFER@WORK™ program combines workplace surfaces and wastewater testing together with risk-based clinical testing, as well as relevant consultative, audit, and assurance services to assess and focus on areas where virus presence is likelier. This approach reduces cost and supports health authorities to allocate capacity constrained human COVID-19 testing where it is most needed.

Job Description

Within its Safer@Work division, Eurofins is looking for a Junior graphic designer with understanding of Digital Marketing, and a strong portfolio. You will work in coordination with the Marketing Department to create and implement graphic and video material that can help drive promotional and marketing strategies, such as marketing collateral, new concepts for websites, landing pages, interactive experiences, and branding concepts. As we must communicate often very technical concepts to diverse audiences, infographic design skills are highly desirable.

Overall purpose of the role: to facilitate the growth of our COVID-19 response–related projects, providing graphic and web design support and taking an active role in the Marketing Department as we expand our customer base and sales.

We look for talented and skilled designers who can think outside the box, and turn ideas and concepts into appealing and high-quality material while managing several projects at the same time. You should be a conceptualist with a track record of creative collaboration with content producers (copywriters and content/digital strategists). You should have a strong sense of the role design plays in our storytelling and brand building.

Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer will be responsible of the creation of graphics, logos, illustrations, infographics, as well as interactive content that can have a strong and effective impact on the marketing strategies and activities, and successfully promote the qualities of the product/ project.

More precisely this professional will:

  • Create concepts and visuals based on specific design needs
  • Collaborate with copywriters, often with very fast turnaround time
  • Develop diverse graphic design assets such as infographics, social media posts, flyers, presentations, illustrations, and others
  • Follow every project from the draft to the finished product
  • Effectively communicate with marketing colleagues
  • Possess great multitasking and time management skills
  • Be able to turn feedbacks in actual improvement
  • Test and ensure the actual appeal and on brand of the final product

Qualifications

Education

  • Nice to have: Bachelor of fine arts in graphic design (BFA) Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in graphic design. Motion design skills are a plus
  • A strong portfolio of previous works Languages
  • Native/ Bilingual English level required. Fluency in other of the main languages within team scope, French, German, Dutch or Spanish also desirable but not necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A commercially creative mindset and natural inclination towards details and aesthetics

• Deep knowledge of design software, programs and technologies (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) • Ability to quickly grasp sometimes highly technical concepts

  • Excellent multitasking, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work on several projects at once and meet deadlines
