As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Junior Legal Counsel to join us and support the teams crafting the high caliber games our fans have come to expect.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the legal team to assist and collaborate with senior legal counsels on diverse legal matters.
  • Engage in the preparation and review of legal documents
  • Conduct legal research across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on areas critical to the gaming industry including intellectual property, data protection, and consumer law.
  • Help ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and other legal formalities relevant to the gaming industry.
  • Actively contribute to the enhancement of the legal team’s knowledge base by integrating industry-specific legal trends into practice.
  • Day-to-day contract management

Requirements

  • Law Degree
  • Proficiency in English

Nice to haves

  • Solid knowledge with a keen interest in fields of law that impact the gaming industry such as intellectual property (IP), data protection, and/or consumer rights.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving circumstances and legal frameworks.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
