To reinforce our team of consultants in Brussels, we are currently looking for a strategic buyer. Your main responsibilities will be:

Analyse the market and potential suppliers to define the best purchasing strategy in coordination with the internal stakeholders,
Organize EU procurement procedures from A (definition of selection and awarding criteria, elaborate the scoring model, draft the contracts) to Z (negotiations, awarding of the contract) in a multifunctional team (mainly composed by technical experts but also safety, legal, project,.. representative). This represents 80% of the mission
Participate in the optimization of internal processes, methods and tools within procurement
Contribute to building synergies and best practices

You have a Master’s degree in technical or engineering studies or you have an economics background with strong technical affinity in form of relevant internships or prior professional experience
You have with preference 1 or 2 years of experience in a technical context, in public procurement or project management environment, or you are high potential young professional that is a quick learner and will benefit a tailor-made training package
Experience with SAP (Module M) and/or Ariba are an asset
Affinity with legal terminology and contract negotiation is an asset
You are willing to travel
You are a fluent comm-unicator in French or Dutch and English, knowledge of German is an asset times a year to Berlin
