We are seeking candidates for the position of:

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER LIFE SCIENCE – BeNeLux and France

The Key account Manager is responsible for handling the most important customers within his territory of responsibilities, typically large pharma companies.

He/ She builds and maintains strong relationship with the customers, anticipating their needs, identifying sales opportunities and generating leads.

He/ She is the first point of contact for the customers and works, to improve the processes and the relationships as well as on resolving issues and complaints.

The candidate will also develop new relationship focusing on new customers. He/ She will be in charge of negotiating contracts and pricing according with the company policies, will collaborate with the rest of the sales team (locally and European level) to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling.

The candidate will drive and will attend all the marketing activities, seminars and other customer focused events in collaboration with the marketing department to ensure the highest quality of services and materials possible to meet all customer needs.

Relevant Education and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales management or key account management in pharma companies or Life Sciences branches.
  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific matters (chemistry, biology, physics, microbiology, biomedical science) or certificates/ masters in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field;
  • A good knowledge of English, French and Dutch (both written and oral).
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills, proactivity, adaptability and attention to details. Self motivated, target oriented, eager to expand our business.
  • The Miller Heiman certification will be considered as a plus.
  • 50%-75% travel; including domestic, international and overnight and/or weekend stays.
  • Remote Office.
