Your responsibilities

As lead buyer, you are responsible for professionalising and optimising the purchasing processes within the group.

• You develop a purchasing strategy that is tailored to the needs of the various sites (Belgium, Romania, USA) and in this way ensure a cost-efficient policy.
• You analyse the existing purchasing processes and goods flows and make adjustments where necessary.
• You ensure optimal stock levels.
• You monitor market prices and work with relevant market info.
• You are able to make financial analyses and work out purchasing projects.
• You enter prices, call off products from suppliers and monitor the timing of deliveries.
• You take care of internal and external communication regarding the purchasing process.
• You optimise our supplier network.

Your talents

• You have a technical background and are analytically strong.
• You are enthusiastic, positively-minded and have good people skills.
• Besides a healthy commercial feeling, you also have a strong power of persuasion.
• You personally contribute to a positive company result and a good working atmosphere.
• You have strong written and spoken skills in Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of German is an asset.
• You are capable of working fluently with IT applications.
