LIS PROJECT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a project manager, you lead the implementation of a laboratory information system (LIS) in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

Project budget management
Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Manage project costs within approved budget and report on actuals versus planned
Manage resources, coordinating all efforts within the company, including third-party services or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Facilitate project initiation and scope definition
Plan and track schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to internal and external (partner) stakeholders.
Define and manage project success criteria & risks and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.

REQUIRED COMPETENCES & SKILLS

Master degree in scientific or related field; or equivalent through experience.
Several years of experience in project management in large enterprise projects, with a strong focus on change management.
Experience in stakeholder management
Experience in managing complex, multi-site and or multi-company projects is an asset
Experience in the healthcare sector and laboratories (data connectivity, LIS, quality, network management, IT infrastructure in labs, …)
Good business acumen
Demonstrated understanding of how to achieve results under tight timelines
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to establish rapport and productive relationships, social communicative, “bridge builder”
Solution and results oriented
