Soitec Belgium nv based in Hasselt, offers industry-leading GaN-on-Si and GaN-on-SiC material solutions, enabling the next generation of Efficient Power Electronic, RF Power and Sensor devices and systems, with today a strong focus on 5G telecom devices. The III-Nitride epiwafers are deposited by MOCVD in its clean-room facility operated in Hasselt.

Your Missions

Primary responsibilities are:
  • Responsible for the Maintenance Strategy, methods, and procedures : Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults, monitor and control maintenance costs, Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
  • Improve performance & processus : to continuously improve the equipment performance through resolution issues and ensure that the equipment knowledge is maintained and documented. Sustain equipment KPI and make continuous improvements to enhance the performance by monitoring and controlling equipment performance indices.
  • Coordinate with both process and manufacturing Engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives
  • Act exemplary towards safety and environmental regulations. You will follow the safety procedures as you will have to work on the Clean Room’s specific environment : avoid/detect any risk situation, correctly handle chemical products and wearing appropriate protective clothing.
Your Profile
  • Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Microelectronics / Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor industry with prior experience in MOCVD or PECVD (Aixtron/Applied Material or others)
  • You are fluent in English, and cross-cultural agile because of the international character of Soitec Belgium
