Job purpose:
You are responsible for:
The operation of a production unit within a MPU
Activities and resources engaged in the production process and for their continuous optimisation
You also coordinate manpower targets, resources and skills
You evaluate capacities (employees and machines) necessary to the completion of the production plan
You are involved in the coordination of supply and demand
Your responsibilities:
In this role you,
Supervise / manage day to day production operations (fermentation and extraction) and ensure adherence to production plan
Lead a team of technicians (< 15 FTE) and collaborate with production colleagues
Ensure compliance of the operations with GMP and Authorities requirements. Monitor quality of the production in close collaboration with QC and take corrective actions when necessary
Act as a key interlocutor in your discipline between the manufacturing Unit and other services (as BeEM / Supply / QC / QA / RA)
Apply the recommended processes and anticipate potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures
Represent your activities in internal and external audits/inspections
Organize and monitor performance progress efficiency of the facility through Key Performance Indicators related to Security, Quality, Budget and Delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
You have a Master’s degree in Engineering, Bio Engineering, Science-related (Chemistry, etc.)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a production environment and in a supervisory role in GMP environment
Experience in a leadership role (team of minimum 10 FTE i.e. experienced and autonomous technical profiles)
You set direction, inspire and engage your team
You onboard and develop your team members
Highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set
Strong planification and organisational skills
Able to adapt to changing assignments
Fluent in French both written & spoken is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
Mechanically inclined
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and succeed in a team environment
Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to operate computer applications preferred
