Job Purpose and Impact

The Marketing Research and Insights Consultant, as a subject matter authority, will independently plan, direct, control, conduct and analyze customer oriented market research activities to detect potential customers and markets for company products and services. In this role, you will develop and maintain marketing databases with internally driven or externally derived information sources.

Key Accountabilities
  • Independently analyze and prepare forecasts and recommendations for product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends.
  • Research market conditions to identify potential sales of a product, providing research consultation, direction, project planning and implementation to deliver market insights.
  • Monitor market conditions, trends and competitors to project business consumer demand and plan product launch timing.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret marketplace trends and customer data to independently create marketing and product development strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
