In the team of NH Gent Belfort you can play a brilliant role as Market Sales Manager for Corporate/ MICE.

In this position you are jointly responsible for optimizing the room, meeting room and banquet reservations. Networking and bonding, putting a smile on the face of existing customers and exciting new ones: that’s your thing! Are you ready to pamper our clients and guests in the largest MICE hotel in the center of Ghent?

NH Gent Belfort is located in the heart of the city of Ghent, just a five-minute walk from attractions such as the Cathedral, the Castle of the Counts and the Belfry. The hotel has 174 rooms and 10 multifunctional meeting rooms. For special occasions, there is also an impressive authentic medieval vaulted cellar.

Who are you?

  • You keep existing customers warm and listen to what they need during sales calls: how can you make their lives better today?
  • On the road? Yes, ofcourse! You actively seek out new contacts and prospects. You explain in bite-sized language you convince future guests to do business with us
  • After your sales pitch you follow up each case - together with other departments, such as front office, hotel organizers, revenue and (group) reservations departments
  • You work towards the higher goal: the annual target. You keep your team and hotel director directly informed of your progress and achievements
  • Sales experience through your graduate, bachelor or master in a commercial or hotel program
  • Experience in hotel and/or sales is a plus
  • A hands-on mentality: you think in possibilities and strive for the best result
  • A perfect knowledge of Dutch and English. Other languages are considered a plus
