Job Purpose and Impact

The Marketing Communications Specialist will lead and coordinate the development of marketing communication materials to effectively represent our organization and its capabilities to customers and prospects across a broad range of channels. We seek a professional who will create plans, content and visual solutions to communicate benefit-driven messages.

Key Accountabilities
  • Grow our business by orchestrating and developing compelling “Cargill stories”, reflecting significant growth opportunities and representing multiple Cargill businesses, expressing the differentiated value we offer to our customers.
  • Execute and lead large-scale, multi-channel marketing communications and promotion efforts.
  • Identify and implement marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with sales and technical teams.
  • Design, develop and implement marketing programs to support the organization’s products, services or market sector.
  • Use thorough knowledge of marketing and communications tools to create graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint and similar visual impressions.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships within a large (multinational) organization and with our supplier network
  • Proven project management skills; Demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
  • Creative copywriting skills; A story-teller with an eye for detail and a structured approach to creating content
  • Strong listening, communications and influencing skills; Persuasive and ability to quickly establish a rapport with all stakeholders
  • Experience in/basic knowledge of graphic design
  • Superior presentation and analytical skills
  • Energetic, flexible and enthusiastic team player
  • Self-starter and effective problem-solver
  • Excellent English written and oral communications skills, preferable native English
