De Herborist is a Belgium based brand with expertise of cannabinoids and terpenes. We focus on health and well-being.

Our Mission is to let the world experience the beneficial properties of this much discussed plant. Innovating and making trending products while keeping ecology and our footprint at the highest stake is our goal.

We believe Hemp was considered taboo for too long. Because this plant has so many ecological and beneficial properties, our vision is to contribute to the rediscovery of Hemp.

De Herborist is known for its innovative style while having a classic background. The production of our Terpene Candles is a first in Europe, as well as our terpene infused well-being sprays.

POSITION SUMMARY

As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you enjoy defining a strategy and a plan for execution. You know the marketing landscape and want to apply your skills to the benefit of the consumer. You have a “digital first” mentality. You will work closely with our Graphic Designer. Thanks to your professionalism and skills, you will know how to deal with challenges that will allow De Herborist to pursue its growth. We are looking for a teamplayer to join our young and dynamic team in an inspiring, vivid and green environment!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and manage website performance, constantly improving UX, design and content
• Create, execute and measure both tactical and brand awareness (digital) marketing campaigns
• Develop and execute annual marketing & communication strategies in line with company objectives
• Responsible for forecasting and budget control
• Keep guard over De Herborist’s identity, be the enforcer and develop it further to adapt to the future
• Responsible for internal and external communication; ex. brand immersions, press releases, key message development, interview preparation etc.
• Manage social media and content creation, including executing an influencer strategy

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in similar marketing & communication role
• Fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of French is a plus
• Willing to work in fast-changing environment and in a startup context
• Strong digital marketing expertise (f.e. social media, content marketing, blogging, ...).
• Proficient in main SEO, SEA and social media dashboards/platforms: Google Analytics, Google Ads and My Business, Facebook for Business, Hotjar etc.
• Affinity with cosmetics is a plus
• Good at prioritizing work and meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
• Great sense of responsibility
• Dedicated and driven personality
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Always looking to improve and make processes more efficient and timely
• Strong communicative and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Graphic design skills is a plus
