Requirements

What will you do?

Within this position you are responsible fordeveloping and managing an international sales organization while targeting on the expansion of sales channels in the different countries. Next to the sales aspect you will also be drafting the ideal online marketing strategy and the European branding policy, always with the aim to maximize the service towards our automotive partners.

• You will be managing and coaching the CRM Manager, the Marketing Manager and the Sales Coordinator who are leading the different teams (45 employees in total)
• You initiate and delegate specific sales & marketing programs for targeted countries.
• You oversee the improvements and drive a claim management approach with clear goals
• Together with your team you initiate new products and services to our automotive partners
• You support and encourage the continuous improvement initiatives in your departments
• Together with the CEO you will draft the Balanced Scorecard for the European organization to ensure maximum transparency and follow-up
• You safeguard the user experience of the website, together with the UX Designer
• You make sure your marketing team is on top of market, product and service evolutions and you encourage and identify innovation opportunities
• You report directly to the CEO of the ADESA Europe group

Who are you?

• You have a master’s degree or equivalent through experience
• You have minimal 10 years of proven experience in the automotive industry or in online business development or marketing of which 5 years in a higher management position
• You are driven by innovation and strategic positioning combined with a pragmatic approach
• You love to investigate, conceptualize and determine the position of the ADESA Europe group within the competitive landscape
• You have excellent communication and leadership skills
• You have a critical, analytical mindset and always think in terms of marketing & sales optimization
• You are fluent in Dutch and English and preferably you also have a good knowledge of French
