Job Purpose and Impact

In the dynamic and fast-paced business environment of Cocoa and Chocolate, the Master Data Specialist will focus on contributing to business projects that support long term supply chain strategies and business goals. In this role, you will help to execute our master data setup and maintenance. We seek a skilled analyst who will partner with all business functions and the corporate global information technology organization to lead and manage the business data requirements in the most accurate way.

Key Accountabilities
  • Create item codes for cocoa & chocolate products (finished products & semi-finished products) in the ERP (JDE, Interspec)
  • Coordinate the item creation process between the different business functions (sales, supply chain, R&D, quality, operations, contract desk)
  • Participate implementing supply chain designs, models, strategies and processes to improve the business.
  • Help identify opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Good level of English (verbal and written) is mandatory, French and Dutch are considered as a plus.
  • Relevant experience in master data set-up and maintenance in a Supply Chain organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of relevant business experience
  • Hands-on problem solver with “can-do” mentality
  • Team oriented mindset – hold self and others accountable
  • Pro-active, optimistic, pursuing and reinforcing collaboration
  • Communicating in an effective and positive manner – compelling and authentic communicator
