Job Title: Molecular Applications Specialist

How will you make an impact?
You will have complete responsibility for Molecular Food Protection - supporting the successful implementation of solutions (instruments, kits, consumables and services) at customer sites around BeNeLux. and achieving your individual revenue targets.

What will you do?
  • Acquisition of new customers in the Food Protection Market.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction by coordinating on-site technical support such as lab setup consultancy, demonstrations, implementation programs, training,
  • Drive all existing and develop new sales opportunities within the territory to meet and exceed targets. Provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting as well as competitive information.
  • Maintaining up to date technical expertise and develop profound domain knowledge, generate customer reference sites, and become a strong internal voice of the customer.

What will you need?
  • Education in molecular biology or comparable education in appropriate science subject with relevant experience, ideally in the food industry
  • High degree of technical competence & confidence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of English language and at least one language of the territory
  • 50 – 75% travel within the role.
