Multimedia Officer:

The Multimedia Officer will be responsible for the development and delivery of multimedia content (e.g. graphic design visuals, videos, printed branding, etc.) for the European Green Party (EGP), and will coordinate the work of additional external multimedia support (e.g. design agencies) for the 2024 European election campaign. They will ensure the brand identity of the EGP is coherent and consistent across all our communication channels.

Tasks:

• Production of graphic design for social media, websites, publications, etc, and management of external graphic designers / design agencies.
• Production of videos for social media, events, etc, and management of external video makers / video agencies.
• Management of external photographers. Photography skills would be an asset.
• Management of the design and printing of our publications.
• Management of the production of promotional materials (e.g. gadgets, merchandise, etc).
• Branding, audio-visual logistics, and management of live-streaming at events.

Job requirements:

• At least 2 years of previous professional experience in multimedia production.
• Proactive and a self-starter attitude, comfortable to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work in a team, particularly in a multicultural environment.
• The organisational ability to manage multiple tasks, often on tight deadlines.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite software including Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, and/or similar tools.
• Experience in videography and photography is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript, 3D modelling, SparkAR/Effect House, music or podcast production, etc, is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of IT is an asset

Please note that candidates who demonstrate a good understanding of EU politics, Green policy issues, and the European Green political family in general, and the ability to identify with our values, will be prioritised.

• The selected candidate will be hired on a full time (38 hours / week) indefinite contract with flexible working hours. Please note that occasional work-trips abroad and, in urgent cases, unsocial working hours may be required.

Recruitment timeline:

The recruitment process will consist of two rounds:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a practical assignment corresponding to the situations which the person would need to manage as EGP Multimedia Officer.

Expected timeframe: beginning of May

2. Second round

Candidates that have been most positively assessed in the first round will be invited to an interview.
