YOUR ROLE

As a replacement we are looking for an Ocean Export Administrator. In your position as Ocean Export Administrator you work closely with your colleagues in the Ocean department and you report to the Ocean Operations Manager. Your place of employment is the Antwerp location.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As an Ocean Export Administrator you are responsible for organizing international sea freight transport, taking into account national and international regulations. With your organizational talents you ensure an optimal process. You identify any problems in the process in a timely manner and proactively resolve them. You maintain contacts with shipping companies, domestic carriers and the various departments within CEVA, both within the industry and worldwide. In addition to the above aspects, the Ocean Export Administrator position is responsible for:

  • Setting up, handling and administrative processing of ocean shipments based on the applicable procedures;
  • Advising and proactively offering suitable solutions for logistics issues;
  • Prioritizing shipment processing;
  • Informing and instructing the various departments and (external) parties with regard to the handling of freight;
  • Operationally responsible for the result of the shipment.

You are an enthusiastic professional who is able to lift the department to a higher level within a changing and dynamic environment. With your organizational and communication skills you are committed to achieving the optimal result together with your colleagues. Moreover, you are someone who likes to work methodically and solution-oriented and who knows how to set the right priorities. In addition, you bring the following knowledge and experience with you:

  • Bachelor’s level of work and thinking;
  • Several years of relevant work experience within Freight Management;
  • Excellent skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written;
  • Good skills in Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent social and communication skills;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
