The European Affairs Consulting Group (EACON) is a Public Affairs consultancy based in Brussels specialised in EU affairs and politics. For almost 20 years, EACON have provided high-level experience in working with the European and national institutions and other major stakeholders, as well as supported the management of trade and scientific associations engaged in European policy developments.
In order to support the management of the company and provide assistance to the projects and the association management of clients, we are looking for a motivated and result-oriented full-time Office and association manager.
The selected candidate is expected to start on 1 February or as early as possible thereof.
As Office and association manager, you would be responsible for:
- Administrative and office management support for Eacon and its clients: e.g. accounting / bookkeeping support, database management, relations with suppliers;
- Community management support: e.g. relations with clients’ members and stakeholder organisations; recruitment of new members; creation of content for clients’ websites and social media channels; monitoring of members and stakeholders activities;
- Communications support: e.g. website, social media channels, PR outreach, communications planning, newsletter, internal communications;
- Event management support: e.g. preparation of content and organisational matters for client meetings, seminars and other events; some travel organisation support;
- Other tasks: Ad-hoc support to client-related activities (e.g. monitoring, data-gathering, preparation of briefings, meeting reports);
Requirements & qualifications:
Education and professional experience
Required
- Relevant degree (university or professional training degree in the field of administration and/or bookkeeping, project management, etc.)
- At least 2 years of demonstrable working experience in similar positions, performed for companies and/or non-for-profit organisations.
Desirable
- Experience in working for membership organisations;
- Experience in project management;
- Experience in social media management.
Professional skills
Required
- Full professional proficiency in English and French with additional language an asset;
- Excellent communication and drafting skills;
- Good command of MS Office
Desirable
- Experience with web management tools;
Personal skills
- Independent and pro-active attitude
- Strong organisational skills
- Eye to detail; precision-oriented work style
- Good personal presentation & behavioural skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
