Jan De Nul Group offers specialised services for the installation of offshore structures for the renewable energy markets. Submarine cable installation and burial, Wind Turbine hook-up as well as complete Onshore and Offshore High Voltage Substations and related O&M activities are part of the offered services. Everything is always tailored to the needs of the client and on an EPC-basis if required. For our site in Taiwan, we are looking for an Operation and Maintenance Manager to strengthen the on-site team.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities Include
  • Taking on the project management role during the operation and maintenance phase, including close collaboration with all supportive departments
  • Managing our current technical team of electrical engineers as well as onsite technicians.
  • Mentoring the team with technical knowledge to ensure full support to the electrical engineers and practical technicians.
  • Provide oversight and recommendations on contract administrative issues and management of the (Sub)contract towards our partners and/ or the client.
  • Responsible for the reporting on a regular basis and overseeing the progress of all important milestones
  • Responsible for the full HSE management from the whole site (onshore and offshore)
  • Responsible for the internal reports/deliverables required by the head office
Profile

Profile

You are a master in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil engineering in Taiwan. You are an organisational talent with project management experience and you have a great sense of responsibility. You have strong analytical skills and work very detailed with a solution-oriented mind-set.

Preferably you have worked before on large construction projects or in renewables in a similar function.

The Computer literate: working with Word and Excel primarily, Powerpoint secondary.

You can communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin.
