Agfa HealthCare is looking for a Paralegal Officer


As our Paralegal Officer you are responsible, under the leadership of a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel, for all the para-legal administrative work (governance work, contract management, certifications, legalizations, …)


Main responsibilities

  • Assist the lawyers in their task to advice, counsel and support the business
  • Follow-up on governance documents prepared for the Agfa Group.
  • Follow-up and administrative management of key contracts
  • Put legal info at the disposal of the legal counsels and provide them with easy access to dbases and libraries
  • Handle, after training, standard legal work, and processes.
  • Operator of the legal-Hotline

Requirements

  • You have a degree in Law / Rechtspraktijk or similar
  • You have gained at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. Understanding corporate governance is a plus.
  • Eye for detail, pragmatic approach, ability to work independently, good organizational skill
  • You have a passion for people and are a good communicator. You are service-minded and discrete.

Language

  • English & Dutch: Fluent speaking, reading and writing skills are a must
