We are looking for penetration testers to join our teams in Luxembourg.As a penetration tester, you will perform authorized tests on computer systems to expose weaknesses in their security that offenders could exploit and provide advice on minimizing risks.You may work in-house for large companies where system security is crucial. However, you’ll commonly work for a security consultancy or risk management organization, where you will partner with external clients to test their systems’ vulnerabilities.Role And Responsibilities
  • work with clients to resolve their requirements from the test, for example, the number and type of systems they would like testing
  • plan and build penetration methods, scripts, and tests
  • carry out remote testing of a client’s network or onsite testing of their infrastructure to identify weaknesses in security
  • simulate security breaches to test a system’s relative security
  • build reports and recommendations from your findings, including the security issues uncovered and the level of risk
  • advise on methods to fix or lower security risks to systems
  • present your findings, risks, and conclusions to management and other relevant parties
Required Skills And Experience
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in software development +1 year in Pentest, and you have the ability and willingness to learn
  • an in-depth understanding of computer systems and their operation
  • excellent spoken and written communication to explain your methods to a technical and non-technical audience
  • attention to detail, to be able to plan and implement tests while considering client requirements
  • creative and critical thinking to penetrate security systems
  • good time management and communication skills to meet the client’s time limit
  • ethical integrity to be trusted with a high level of confidential information
  • teamwork skills, to support colleagues and share techniques
  • outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and the persistence to apply different techniques to get the job done
  • dedication to continuously updating your technical knowledge base
  • Native Dutch, Proficiency in English
