We are looking for a Planning Coordinator, who will be working closely with local (Europe) and HQ (China) experts to gain insight in related regulation and industry trends in Europe, seek for potential industry opportunities. His/her primary focus will be helping the local supervisor to make business and strategy planning of the team and prepare reports to different management levels, and also as coordinator between local and HQ teams to enhance the efficient and well aligned working cooperation.

The company is putting together a dynamic, geographically-distributed team. The successful candidate will be given a choice of working either in Leuven (Belgium) or Reading (UK).

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local experts in various fields to gain insights into regulations and industry trends in Europe, including but not limited to key standards organizations, industry alliances, certification organizations, key industry projects, and key partners, identify opportunities in the consumer product and service industry, and output industry reports.
  • Establish collaboration bridges between local standard and industry development experts and HQ business teams to facilitate communication and cooperation.
  • Assist local supervisor in business and strategy planning, kick off project at the beginning of the year, prepare mid-year report, end-of-year report, and other upper-level business reports.

    • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven working experience in business planning and strategy planning;
  • Strong information processing, oral and written reporting skills;
  • Good understanding on both European and Chinese culture, working experience in multicultural environment;
  • Holding an Engineering degree or above;
  • Experience in standardization and industry development is preferred;
  • Fluent in English and Chinese(spoken and written)
