Job Description

The PR Manager will roll out all PR activities for the Village. He/she will contribute to ensure the positioning of the Village in the local, regional and foreign media while focusing on building brand awareness and driving qualitative footfall.

Your key responsibilities are to develop and implement a PR and Communications Strategy with quantitative and qualitative objectives and building strong relationships with top Benelux press contacts and key opinion leaders.

A snap out of your responsibilities:

  • Promote the ’Village Experience’ through organization of press trips & key opinion leader visits;
  • Manage, monitor and analyse process & reporting executed by PR agency (clippings of PR events, press coverage, KOL social media coverage, ROI);
  • Manage the PR budget and PR calendar;
  • Liaise the PR activities towards PR agency;
  • Organisation and coordination of international Press trips, this to promote the other Villages of the Group Shopping Collection;
  • Work directly with Benelux Journalists & Editors to obtain well-placed, high quality editorial coverage in targeted press and media;
  • Working with the Marketing, Events and Hospitality teams to co-develop Press & VIP events to promote the Village as a luxury destination;
  • Supporting the Private Client Services Program through personal network and VIP contacts.

The position offers a high flexibility in term of home office.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in an international PR role, within a large rapidly changing and fast paced global environment
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Public Relations or Communications
  • Luxury companies experience
  • Fluent in English and French/Dutch, both written and spoken. Any other languages are beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational & project management skills, with the ability to prioritise varying demands whilst working under pressure and outstanding attention to detail: structured & efficient
  • Have the ability to create innovative and effective methods and understanding of digital marketing and general digital trends
  • Hands-on personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills: proactive & goal oriented
  • Be a natural leader and team player, a personable character and an exceptional communicator: the ability to communicate at the highest level both written and verbal in all departments, on a global scope with a vast professional and social network
  • Having strong influence, communication and negotiating skills.
  • Be passionate to act as a true ambassador for our Village. You are obsessed by the latest luxury fashion and lifestyle trends
