About The Role

The Presales Consultantwill provide technical and domain leadership by working closely withNetAppand senior Arrow staff in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, and support modernizing data center solutions for partners and customers. They will also support the sales and vendor teams with data center pre-sales technical and technology activities across the data center portfolio of products and services offered by Arrow. The activities will support Arrow partners, SI’s, MSP’s and Resellers in both a technical and commercial capacity.

They will be delivering customized demos and presentations, conducting training and webinars and providing technical advice and support for customers, including on-site installations.

The selected candidate will be reporting to Ilias Khomsi and joining a team of 10 professionals based in Belgium (Sint Stevens Woluwe).

Day to day duties

  • Provide technical knowledge and expertise to the customers on NetApp.
  • Advise clients transitioning to cloud-based and managed Datacentre services.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for modern Datacentre platform capabilities.
  • Support the commercial team in the development, construction of offers to the clients.
  • Interact with the partners, identifying the needs and business opportunities by performing technical consultancy.
  • Validate and work on NetApp configurations to support the business.
  • Deliver training/workshops/webinars/solution presentations to partners, also at vendor events and industry events.
  • Create PoC (proof of concepts) within the real customer’s environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience with Storage solution design and implementation (ideally with NetApp).
  • Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology.
  • An ability to take the initiative and be a pro-active self-starter.
  • Empathetic, fair, and generous approach to staff and people management
  • A highly entrepreneurial spirit that manifests itself in a “let’s make it happen” approach, coupled with initiative and adaptability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and genuine passion for Information Technology.
  • Willingness to do some regional (up to 2x week) and EMEA (rarely) traveling, after covid.
  • Fluency in Dutch, English and French preferred.
