We are a fast growing company where people are the most valuable asset. To support our continuous growth and reinforce our Supply Chain, Planning, Logistiek team we are looking for a Proces Coördinator Packaging.

Missie en hoofdtaken


As Packaging Process Coordinator, you are responsible for the management of packaging launches and changes in our Eeklo plant. You are involved in the entire process: from first contact with sales teams ending to commercial production of new packaging. With your colleagues in the department ‘new products’, you will be:


  • Coordinating the development of new packaging materials, phase-outs and other changes. You ensure that first production occurs by the agreed date and with the agreed specifications

  • Finding creative solutions matching customer demand, while keeping complexity and costs under control
  • Periodically reviewing our product portfolio with the aim of proposing improvements
  • Maintaining active change overview, flagging timing/deadline issues and executing mitigation actions
  • Calculating palletization solutions, considering production, warehousing and transport constraints; aiming for maximum efficiency; and communicating the importance of this to sales teams
  • Coordinating the development of raw materials and packagingwith suppliers and providing information for a successful first purchase to Purchasing department once a project is confirmed
  • Sharing best practices with Ontex colleagues across the world and helping each other when needed

Achtergrond en ervaring


  • Master’s degree in a technical/economical field or equivalent
  • You are a good communicatorand work accurately
  • You have a strong change capability
  • You are confident in your abilities and able to take autonomous decisions
  • MS Office application. Knowledge of SAP, Photoshop, AutoCad and Illustrator is a plus
