The Mission Of The Job

The Process Analyst identifies corporate needs and/or corporate areas where performances or processes within the scope of his/her expertise can be designed, improved, automated and/or standardized, ensures the End-to-End compliance with other interrelated processes, and suggests alternatives and/or improvements in line with the customer journey.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Together with all the stakeholders, charts the business needs/challenges and/or questions, and analyzes these needs with the help of tools and methods (process mining, etc.), identifies the impact on existing processes, the organization, the customer experience, systems and/or tools, as well as any financial consequences of this, and takes account of the applicable regulations (Sarbanes-Oxley - SOX, General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, International Standard of Organization - ISO, Wholesale Chinese Walls, etc.) and the best practices.
• Maps out the AS IS in consultation with the business and defines the TO BE by means of workshops, interviews, etc., considers the feasibility/desirability in consultation with IT, and, based on this, proposes the best possible solution. Works out the necessary process adjustments, facilitates and documents them by means of process modeling tools (= business process modeling and re-engineering).
• Monitors the existing processes, identifies where (recurring) problems occur in the current systems/processes, and formulates/develops solutions by taking into account the lessons learned. Standardizes the processes to the extent possible (in line with the industry standards), always taking the interests of the stakeholders into account in this.
• Acts as the point of contact with regard to processes (and related incidents/problems) within the area of responsibility and, in this capacity, makes proposals or gives advice towards a specific option when converting the business requirements into an implementation. Safeguards the Single Source Of Truth with regard to processes and process documentation.
• Supports change processes by the joint development of change plans, and guides these improvement processes according to the plan and in accordance with the applicable agreements.
• Contributes to and supports the Telenet strategy from the perspective of process analysis, and on the basis of business expertise and potential future technology evolutions. Starting from the Center of Excellence (CoE), contributes to and works in line with the Telenet Agile Way Of Working (TAWOW).
  

Knowledge & Skills

• Has or will grow extensive knowledge of the Telenet organization, products, services, technologies and ways of working, and can handle the rapidly changing, dynamic environment in which Telenet operates.
• Has experience and an affinity with IT, network infrastructure, applications and related processes, whether in the telecom sector or otherwise.
• Has strong analytical skills in order to identify the appropriate conclusions from complex and varying material, has a problem-solving approach and the ability to think in a conceptual manner with a sense of reality.
• Has the relevant experience in process modeling, management, documentation and business analysis.
• Is able to take initiatives for process optimization within the assigned domain of expertise.
• Is able to question ideas and to weigh options against each other.
• Applies design thinking/out-of-the-box thinking in order to explore solution approaches.
  

Problem Solving

• Analyzes the needs of the involved stakeholders with regard to processes, and aligns these with the industry standards.
• Identifies/analyzes bottlenecks/flaws in the process, defines process-driven adjustments and proposes improvements.
• Implements the process improvement, possibly working together with/in consultation with other stakeholders.
• Prepares analyses and syntheses with regard to the processes in question on the basis of the reporting about operational and/or financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  

Nature & Area Of Impact

• Manages and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned processes.
• Coordinates the process optimization within the broader business process, limits any impact on other process components, and, in this way, safeguards the interactions between the various core processes.
• Advises on the best approach for the implementation of the Telenet vision and strategy.
  

Interactions / Interpersonal Skills

• Is the initial point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders (internal services, Telenet partners, etc.) with regard to processes.
• As an expert, interacts with, advises and works together with (strategic) managers and other relevant stakeholders, and is able to strive for consensus in the case of opposing interests.
• Is able to adapt his/her communication manner/style to the target audience and the context.
• Has the strong communication skills needed in order to convince the various stakeholders clearly and without ambiguity, and to highlight the possible impact and risks.
• Gives/facilitates workshops.
• Develops training programs/documentation, and shares the best practices to support the process and its application.

What Is Needed To Reach Success In This Job

• Bachelor, Master or equivalent through experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Process Analyst or Business Analyst
• NL/FR - ENG
• being able to think and act in a solution-driven and analytical manner
• communication skills
  

Nice to have > skills will be developed in the first months in the function:

• Experience in the telecom sector.
• working in an agile environment
