Your role

The Product Definition Analyst designs solutions for the Amadeus products so they meet customers’ expectations. He/she analyses the requirements (as product owner or together with the product owner) and designs functional solutions together with the scrum team. He/she works together with other engineering roles to, together, enrich the customer experience. He/she contributes to any continuous improvement efforts, in line with the Amadeus standards.


Main Activities

You will:

  • Assess requirements
    • Build, maintain and share the functional knowledge of our processes, services and usage of end user
    • products.
    • Analyse business requirements submitted by Product Management.
    • Size specification and validation work.
  • Carry out functional design
    • Write Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, Product Specifications and present functional walk-throughs to all concerned stakeholders.
    • Interface with relevant divisions and departments to identify interactions with other Amadeus applications and ensure nfunctional compatibility.
  • Overview validation
    • Validate the product to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity, and give sign off
    • Ensure production integrity by investigating, validating and prioritizing reported incidents.
  • Manage relations with key stakeholders
    • Interface and communicate with Product Management, Project management, Amadeus Customer Services, Implementation, Migration and Development teams.
    • Interface with the customer during requirements understanding, functional specification, testing and Implementation phases.

Education

  • Master degree in engineering or science or business studies

  • Understanding of/interest in IT concepts (APIs / ux / …)
