Product Marketing Europe: Senior Specialist

Overview

The Europe Product Marketing team supports the go-to market strategy for all new and established product and services areas at Mastercard. Working side by side with internal and external partners, we drive the demand, adoption, and usage of our solutions. This includes developing consumer-centric value-propositions, comprehensive sales enablement materials (B2B) and compelling messaging (B2B2C).

We need a dynamic self-starter - able to multi-task - who wants to help make an impact, with substantial planning & execution experience and attention to targets, quality, time, and budget.

Role
  • Execute product marketing strategies and activities to inform sales, customers and end-users about Mastercard’s consumer and commercial products & services.
  • In close collaboration with product and other business teams, develop content and materials to drive demand, adoption and usage of Mastercard’s solutions.
  • Consumer-centric product value propositions meeting consumer/commercial needs, based on research and other validation methods
  • B2B materials including presentations, videos, sell sheets, infographics etc., as well as thought leadership content and communication of subject matter expertise
  • B2B2C materials including demos, websites, below-the-line communication, digital / social content that our partners can leverage
  • Coordinate project roll-out ensuring all requirements and deliverables are met with high quality, and on time and budget.
  • Use deep understanding of category and ecosystem relationship to deliver insights into partner / consumer needs and competitors’ products to build captivating sales stories (B2B & B2B2C).
  • Synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders into cohesive, compelling information and communication. Obtain content and legal approval from different stakeholders.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are integrated within all product marketing deliverables.
  • Lead efforts to make sales materials available through internal platforms, like the Product & Sales Center, Seismic or Global Marketing Center, and communicate availability accordingly. Collaborate with Communications specialists.
  • Support B2B thought leadership efforts and coordinate content consolidation for monthly internal and external newsletters
  • Support the activation of B2B marketing campaigns that create demand for solutions using digital media, social platforms, CRM and trade shows/virtual events.
  • Work closely with Global Product Marketing peers as well as local marketing teams in Europe markets to ensure leveraging of materials and consistency in positioning and messaging.
  • Report regularly on performance measurement, evaluate accomplishment of objectives using metrics defined, recommend ways to leverage past success and apply to future programs.
  • Coordinate agencies, budgets, and timelines, provide direction, feedback and guidance.

All About You
  • Product or B2B marketing experience, particularly in content development, sales enablement and below-the-line/digital marketing.
  • Experience working on large projects that require a high degree of collaboration with different stakeholders internally and externally in various markets. Embracing diversity.
  • Proficient in simplifying and turning complex ideas into clear and compelling narratives, willingness to achieve subject matter expertise in a complex environment.
  • Digital savvy, ability to understand the basic concepts of technology and follow their constant evolution. Experience in marketing of a technology-based product is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing and editing persuasive B2B communications. Familiarity with communications design and production
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations to senior team members and articulate a clear point of view.
  • Capacity for analyzing data and insights.
  • Detail oriented and able to keep cross-functional projects moving against deadlines, embracing a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with agency management. Monitored project budgets successfully and demonstrated understanding of cost drivers.
  • Negotiation, influencing and sales skills. Solution oriented.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can bring new ideas, wanting to make an impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
