Product Owner, Mechanical CAD

We are looking for a Product Owner whose daily focus will be researching, managing, and prioritizing new feature and functionality requests for BricsCAD Mechanical.

Reporting to the Executive Product Owner for BricsCAD Mechanical, your primary responsibilities will include

*Supporting the team in building the product roadmap by

• defining the OKRs (objectives and key results for the upcoming release)
• validating roadmap in accordance with sales input

*Grooming and prioritizing the development backlog and ensuring that the team:

• is focused on the high value elements and roadmap commitments
• is clear on the requirements (problem, goal, objective, acceptance (i.e. story writing)

*Ensuring market fit and stakeholder buy-in of delivered features

• understanding and meeting the real market needs
• getting the right requirements and feedback on what and how things are built

*Preparing content needed to ensure that the management teams are engaged and aware of the roadmap

• Goals
• Progress
• Risk management

*Defining, and monitoring success of their product area and delivered features.

*Participating in the scrum / agile ceremonies from inception, planning, review, and update

Your profile

• Several year’s of professional work experience with 3D Mechanical CAD, CAM, and/or CAE software acquired either in industry or in a service/solution provider to Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) businesses
• Mechanical Engineering degree or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communicator, with business-level English proficiency
• Highly organized in your work, and strive to determine and deliver the pertinent level of detail for every task
• You realistically plan your own work and work independently and reliably
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodology is a plus
