The Project Management Officer will be actively supporting the Cluster Manager of Customer Onboarding BeNeLux and has a multi-functional and flexible role within the BeNeLux organization.
Your Role

In this position, the Project Management Officer will be actively taking ownership of administrative topics, continuous improvement topics, urgent topics, and coaching/support within the Customer Onboarding BeNeLux team. In this role, it is required to exercise responsibilities with a high degree of independence, have (technical) knowledge of the (3PL) contract logistics environment, and have project management skills. You will have interaction with staff in different layers within the BeNeLux organization. Since this role has a three-country scope you will be traveling to different sites. The function will require building relationships and networks, and coaching colleagues in various areas of our implementations.
Your Responsibilities
  • Widely deployable within the Customer Onboarding projects;
  • Supporting the Cluster manager of Customer Onboarding BeNeLux;
  • Taking ownership to drive and resolve critical issues as well as support in process workshops and designs;
  • Suggesting and conducting improvement tasks and projects, independently carrying out specific missions, projects and research.;
  • Building project management development experience for yourself, as well as technical experience of the business and business environment.

Your Skills And Experiences
  • High degree of independence, organizational and project management skills, flexibility, very good communication style and a self-motivator;
  • Ability to work under pressure, on own initiative and interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment;
  • Solid knowledge of project management and of the concepts of lean management and continuous improvement;
  • Willingness to travel to the different sites within BeNeLux;
  • Language skills: English and Dutch are mandatory;
  • University degree or similar level of education;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office;
  • Strong teamplayer and intersocial skills.
