The Project Manager, Operational Excellence, is supporting the MPU LVV in Business Improvement (Strategic Alignment, Performance Management, Gemba with an Improvement Purpose) by acting on the operating system, the management of the infrastructure, and on the mindset and behavior. (S)he leads transversal and/or local projects with impact on the global/local strategy. (S)he manages of strategic projects within the MPU LVV, from process amelioration to equipment installation (communication, planning, budget, risks management, stakeholders’ management, reporting, coordination of tasks), in accordance with the qualification and validation procedures.

Your Responsibilities

• You challenge customer needs when necessary and suggest alternatives solutions.
• You analyze, propose and implement technical solutions based on User Requirements.
• You take actions to control cost and timing related to project.
• You participate (if necessary) in commercial negotiations.
• You ensure construction follow-up, commissioning and reception by legal authority.
• You prepare and update qualification protocols related to the different disciplines.
• You organize, monitor and execute qualification of installation.
• You deliver on time and high-quality projects through an efficient hand-over and documentation filing.
• You develop Risk management approach (strategy) for projects.
• You support other PM to manage their projects.
• You support Production at the implementation phase of projects.
• You deploy and use project management tools in the MPU
  

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• University degree, Industrial or Civil Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated competency in project management and change management
• Experience in process improvement & lean manufacturing Successful experience in people management
• Knowledge of GMP
• Fluent in French and good level of English (written and oral)
• Computer skills: Ms Project, SAP is an asset
  

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

• Green Belt certified
• Good understanding of Supply Chain & Quality Control processes
• Knowledge in OE principles / tools / methodologies / application
