Job Purpose

The current approved GSK vaccine portfolio includes around 50 different products. This product portfolio needs continuous process and product maintenance in order to keep the products in a compliant state at all times.
The Project Manager Technical Life Cycle Management is involved in a Technical Life Cycle Team (TLCT).

As Project Manager TLCM, you ensure the establishment and maintenance of entire process and product knowledge and the preparation of a risk / opportunity map to implement continuous improvement projects. You prepare the continuous improvement projects including business cases, the required budgets, and assure the project management according to GSK Vaccines standards in an efficient, timely and cost-efficient way. You ensure continuous exchange of knowledge between the different manufacturing units, QA, QC, RA, GSCM, OE, COE, R&D & Technical Life Cycle Management, respectively.

Your Responsibilities

• You lead and animate one Technical Life Cycle Team (TLCT)
• You manage projects for specific products and/or transversal processes in vaccine organization. You ensure that projects are executed in line with the GSK standards.
• You are responsible for reporting to MSAT governing bodies.
• You ensure projects are executed using the quality processes (eCC, CAPA, deviation) You are involved in the preparation of projects including a business case and a budget in order to support proactive/reactive technical life cycle management
• You feed and maintain the knowledge management for the products and/or transversal processes in your field of responsibility and to ensure continuous exchange and update of the production units, QA, QC, RA, GSCM, OE, COE, Engineering and R&D, respectively within TLCT
• You prepare and maintain a risk matrix for products and/or transversal processes in your field of responsibility.
• You are responsible to provide process and product expertise for the contact during audit L4.
• You manage QMT issues/topics, or to lead a task force.
  
  

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Advanced degree in process engineering sciences, and/or academic level in life sciences in general.
• Minimum 5 years applicable experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and / or experience in QA, QC, RA or GSCM within a biological environment
• Experience in project management including management of people from very different environments (cf current job description)
• Excellent understanding of the framework within which a pharmaceutical product has to be maintained in compliance: Authorities / Scientific / Business
  

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• English read, write and speak.
• Expertise in Incoming Material is a strong plus
• Proven ability to communicate and to develop and maintain a network with all levels of management across functional, cultural boundaries
• Proven ability of understanding compliance requirements
• Ability of making clear and concise communications at internal, departmental level
• Understands basics of impacting and influencing people and situations and is able to apply them.
• Excellent in Data analysis
• Able to manage medium/complex projects with GSK and non-GSK partners. Knowledge of the project management tools and processes (Project management, book trained), change facilitation and team/meeting facilitation
• Leadership/people and relationship management
• Analytical, and problem-solving skills (fish bone, 5 why’s, interviews, VOC…)
• Process re-engineering
• Understanding of business climate and priorities
• Ability to manage documents/ communication of medium to high complexity for internal and external use/audience (ex: Technical Report, Briefing document,…)
