As a QARA Operations Specialist you will be part of an international QARA team responsible for ensuring that the products and services of Agfa Radiology Solutions Division (RSD) are and remain in compliance with the requirements for medical products in the different countries where they are marketed. This entails frequent collaboration with virtually all parts of the company.

Depending on the expertise you have built up, you can represent Agfa RSD as an expert at international business organizations.

As QARA Operations Specialist You Are Responsible For

  • Solving compliance risks for RSD devices;
  • Developing and implementing out-of-the box solutions for specific regulatory issues for marketing RSD devices in various countries;
  • Carrying out improvement projects to support registrations and (external) audits more efficiently;
  • Supporting the worldwide QARA team in complex projects;
  • Reporting data to the Business Process Managers.

Your Profile

  • You have an academic degree, or equivalent experience;
  • You are an outspoken team player with a very strong analytical skills;
  • You are problem solving oriented, and capable of taking fact based, motivated decisions;
  • You have knowledge, or are prepared to acquire knowledge, of legal processes and quality systems related to the medical sector;
  • You are willing to travel, e.g. to support external inspections;
  • Experience with project management is an added value;
  • You speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
