Functieomschrijving

As a Sr. Engineer, Quality Assurance (QA) you will support the QA Manager on all quality issues related to daily production of our clients consumables. You will ensure good product and component specifications for internal and external use. You will be part of a team of 8 people, working in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • New Products, Processes, Tools and Machines
  • Follow up on a day-to-day quality performance and issue actions to improve where relevant
-Analyze internal non-compliance (incl. root cause analysis) and propose short- and long-term actions
  • Issue non-compliance reports to suppliers
  • Follow up on non-compliance improvement actions both internally and with suppliers
  • Document product and component specifications for suppliers
  • Execute improvement actions on shopfloor with Quality Control and Operations
  • Involve in the details of test execution for new or changed products and/or processes
  • Lead the Setup of Test plans between R&D, Engineering, Production and QA
  • Follow up on performance of new processes and products
  • Write relevant instructions for new products and/or processes
  • Report the findings of tests done by QA/Production to Engineering, R&D and Production
Other:
  • Support company Health & Safety Program and its working groups on the site
  • Perform at least 1 H&S external audit per year as a Team Leader in the EMEA region
  • Participate in Compliance, Safety, Security and ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 audits
  • Respect all procedures and instructions regarding Safety, Security, Environment, 5S, ISO 9001 and 14001
  • Cooperate in maintaining the procedures and instructions

Uw profiel

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Technical education, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (mechanical engineering preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience on a similar position
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical skills, able to work with and comprehend data
  • Team player with hands-on approach
-Influencing skills - able to engage people for quality, safety and environment programs
  • Knowledge of Windchill will be a plus
