The Radiotherapy Quality Assurance (RTQA) Officer works under the hierarchical supervision of the Head of Data Management in a multidisciplinary team.

Main responsibilities / Major Activities

  • Coordinates the data collection, QA and storage of RT data during clinical trials
  • Coordinates the collection and performs review of RTQA documents necessary for site activation
  • Assists the RTQA Manager to ensure optimal RTQA implementation in clinical trials and collection of high quality data in a timely manner
  • Participates in the writing and amendment of corresponding sections of clinical trial protocols, guidelines, and quality related documents (e.g. SOPs)
  • Participates to project-based meetings as RTQA representative
  • Collaborate with the regulatory department for submission of radiation protection information to national authorities and ethics committees
  • Cooperating the RTQA manager and external experts to develop and update the RTQA process according to applicable regulatory requirements
  • Assist the RTQA Manager in cleaning, curating and analyzing data collected in previous and ongoing trials
  • Facilitating and taking part in scientific projects regarding trial RTQA with other clinical trial organizations (e.g. global harmonization group) to harmonize RTQA procedures (with a focus on physics aspects)
  • Supports the activities of the Emmanuel van der Schueren and Andrée Dutreix fellows

Profile

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in radiotherapy in clinical trials or
  • You are a radiotherapy technologist / dosimetrist / junior physicist with clinical experience
  • You are familiar with Velocity, Eclipse, Python and R is a plus.
  • You are a team player who can work independently
  • You have excellent knowledge of MS office tools
  • You have excellent writing and speaking skills in English
  • You have good organization and planning skills
  • You are proactive and dynamic
  • You are diplomatic and have good communication skills
  • Experience in the clinical research environment is an asset
