Who we are & What do we believe?
International Council of Peace and Security is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that aims to share and spread academic content to people all around the world with foreign policy analyses over countries and regions within peace and security studies. It focuses on diverse sub-categories across multi disciplines, from international energy security, political violence and disarmament to Polieconomics as well as providing data based research barometers annually to Cultivate heightened awareness and understanding of matters pertaining to international security and peace at a global scale.Website. At ICSP, the academic team consists of international writers and members from its 12 departments. ICPS does write in many fields with foreign policy based non partisan, political analysts with the aim of sharing the academic analysis and knowledge our team has, to allow all the people around the globe to benefit from this knowledge without any charges or subscriptions while promoting peace and security analyses all over the world.
Who We Are Recruiting For Position?
We, as ICPS, are looking for people who are interested in the Human Resources department with supporting resumes for the position they are applying for. We will be hiring 10 people to our human resource recruiting team for the Human Resource Recruiter/ Officer position and responsibilities for this position will be as listed below:
As a Human Resource Recruiter at ICPS, you will be responsible for using LinkedIn to post job ads, screen candidates, communicate with potential hires, and maintain data related to candidates and other recruitment needs. You will be expected to participate in ICPS’s weekly Saturday interviews and be available on Saturdays to work with a team of recruiters to conduct interviews in morning, afternoon, or evening shifts with flexible scheduling. It is expected that you have a relevant degree or extensive experience in the human resources field and a desire to advance your career in this field. Your duties will include preparing weekly reports, entering data daily, and conducting Saturday interviews with flexible shifts. While you will have autonomy in your work, you will also be expected to collaborate with assigned HR Consultants and report to them, taking their advice into consideration and seeking final approval from the HRM and CSO for necessary weekly activities.

- In-depth knowledge of human resources principles and practices:It is essential to have a solid understanding of the principles and practices that guide effective recruitment and hiring processes. This includes understanding how to identify and evaluate the qualifications and experience of potential candidates, how to develop and implement recruitment strategies.
- Experience using LinkedIn and other recruitment tools and platforms:The ability to effectively use LinkedIn and other recruitment tools and platforms is crucial for a HR Recruiter, communicate with potential hires, and maintain data related to candidates.
- Strong communication skills:Excellent communication skills are essential for a HR Recruiter. This includes the ability to clearly convey information and ideas through speaking, writing, and listening, as well as the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Ability to effectively screen candidates and evaluate their qualifications:A HR Recruiter is responsible for evaluating the qualifications of potential candidates and determining which individuals are the best fit for the organization. This requires strong analytical and assessment skills, ability to make informed decisions based on a thorough review of candidate resumes and other application materials.
- Proficiency with data entry and reporting:As a HR Recruiter, it is important to have strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter and maintain data related to candidates and other recruitment needs. This may also involve preparing weekly reports and other documents, which requires proficiency with data analysis and presentation tools with strong usage of Google Drive.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with candidates:A HR Recruiter must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates in order to effectively evaluate their fit for the organization. This includes the ability to establish trust and credibility, as well as the ability to listen actively and respond appropriately to candidates’ needs and concerns.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with others:It is essential to have the ability to work well with others and contribute to the team’s success. This includes the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, as well as the ability to seek out and utilize the skills and expertise of others when needed.
- Conflict resolution skills:A HR Recruiter may encounter conflicts or challenges during the recruitment process, and it is important to have strong conflict resolution skills in order to effectively handle these situations. This includes the ability to identify the root cause of conflicts, communicate effectively with all parties involved, and work towards a resolution that is satisfactory to all parties.
What Are Our Requirements For The Position?
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Human Resource Management, International Relations or a related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of human resources principles and practices, including recruiting, hiring, and employee relations
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn and other recruitment tools and platforms to post job ads, screen candidates, and communicate with potential hires
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
- Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate the qualifications and experience of potential candidates and make informed decisions about their suitability and sustainability for the organization
- Proficiency with data entry and reporting, including the ability to accurately maintain records related to candidates and prepare weekly reports using data analysis and presentation tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others, * including HR consultants and other recruiters
- Adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to work on Saturdays with flexible shifts as needed
- Strong conflict resolution skills, with the ability to identify and effectively resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise during the recruitment process
- A desire to advance your career in the human resources field, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural, gender-based, religious, racial, national, and age differences, as well as a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- The highest standards of integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
