Job Duties

As part of the Europe Region IE Center of Excellence (COE) working in the Europe Region IE Team for Data driven insights on Service, Performance and Cost.
You are working with a Team of highly trained People on different Grade Levels.
You are interfacing to the Operations Excellence Departments in the Districts and well as inquiries from other Departments.
Your Job duty is to support the COE bringing the Insight requirements to the next level using available and upcoming technology.
This includes automation and creation of adhoc reports based on the data hosted in various sources throughout UPS.
Also, you are creating Presentations and other outputs concerning the data insights on regular base.
You are working with the COE Team to bring innovative data driven insights to the Management Team including IE, Operations and Staff.
You are known to produce accurate results on short term requests and inquiries.
You are supporting the Operations Excellence Departments in the District for any inquiries they have to the Region. This includes the creation of reports in different reporting applications (Information Library, DIR, PRR…) and the creation of presentations and weekly/monthly routines based upon the reports created. You are interconnecting data from various available sources and Formats into new Outputs.
As required you will support the creation of new/updated Methods and Procedures.

Job Specific Competencies

Strong Knowledge in using MS Office Products (Access/Excel/Powerpoint) is required
Basic Knowledge on UPS Reporting Applications is required (DIR, DWH, PRR, Infolib, Reference Data…)
Advanced knowledge in the Field of SQL (MSSQL/OSQL) is required, Experience with SSRS and SSAS are a plus
Knowledge of UPS Operation Systems and Interconnects as well as UPS Products and Services are a plus
Experience in the Field of PowerBI is a plus (Desktop + Web), DAX Experience is a plus
Programming Experience in further Languages (e.g. PowerShell, VB, VBA, .net…) is a plus
Programming Experience in Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Javascript) are a plus
Presentation Skills and Experience in presenting as a trainer are a plus
Experience in Operations and/or IT is a plus
