Sales Manager for Electrical & Decarbonization solutions in Europefor power generation controls service

Background

You have several years of Sales experience, are motivated by familiarizing yourself with the customer’s needs and to provide professional sparring to customers. In addition:

  • University Degree in relevant field, e.g. electrical engineering, or similar
  • At least 10+ years of experience preferably in energy industry in roles with customer interaction
  • At least 5+years of proven track record in successful sales or sales relevant roles, including business development in multicultural environment
  • Experience on sales of complex electrical solution in energy generation field are highly appreciated
  • Experience in decarbonized technologies, service or modernization such as hydrogen, BESS, renewables is a benefit
  • Advanced level of knowledge on MS office tools, and sales & execution process knowhow
  • Excellent in communication, contract analysis, negotiation & presentation in English (spoken & written), an additional language is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Work in teams with global partners, collaborating mindset, solution & target-oriented
  • Self-driven and motivated to take ownership of work with passion
  • Willingness to international intensive travels and on short notice

Responsibilities

Become responsible for sales activities of large complex and international projects with focus on decarbonization and electrical solution and be an important focal point for bidding and contract negotiations. The primary task will be to expand our market position within electrical solution projects and build up our market in decarbonization for energy in North & Western Europe Region. You take ownership of:

  • Constant change in the business environment and disruption in technology is offering chances for us to convert them into opportunities
  • Monitor and analyze the market and developing ideas for future sustainable business
  • Business development for Electrical & Decarbonization solutions. Ensure a transparent and healthy sales pipeline
  • Develop opportunities. Lead and execute proposal preparation and coordination with relevant departments in the execution of new construction, modernization, and service projects
  • Build long term customer relationships with decision makers
  • Lead and guide pricing strategy for area of responsibility
  • Supporting the yearly planning process with market knowledge, planning of incoming orders and others
  • Comply with all internal and external regulations, instructions and policies

You are hands on regarding the sales activities but will also get technical and commercial support internally both by colleagues in the regional organization, but also from the headquarters in Germany
