About the job:

Based in Mons, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the Chief Service Operation (CSO) that is accountable to plan, operate and maintain CIS services throughout the allocated Area of Responsibility. Moreover, CSO serves as signature authority for Agency orders involving deployment of staff and equipment to Operations and Exercises and is responsible for CIS operational situational awareness to the General Manager (GM) and Chief of Staff (COS) as well as exercises coordination authority for day-to-day in-service support across the Agency’s portfolio.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Resource Manager (Finance) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Monitors and maintains financial records to agreed requirements for compliance and audit.
  • Assists with identifying and calculating process, service, project and component costs for financial planning and budgeting.
  • Explains the functions and features of budgeting tools.
  • Implements the organization’s budget cycle and process.
  • Follows organizational practices and guidelines for product profitability reporting.
  • Analyzes errors or inaccuracies in financial reports.
  • Evaluates differing expense management alternatives and makes recommendations.
  • Facilitates proper documentation and compliance with established standards and regulations.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in Financial and budgetary practices, techniques and procedures.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in planning, preparation and production of budget or financial plan submission.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in financial execution and resource management.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
