Overview:
As a Sales assistant you will be supporting the account managers in preparing and finalizing the necessary documents for a successful participation in public tenders. You are also responsible for the recurrent renewal of legal documents that are necessary to comply with the demands of public tenders. This position allows potential canodidates to develop the necessary know-how to grow further in sales support or sales-oriented positions in the future.
Responsibilities:
  • Tender Support -Planning and executing consistently high standard tender responses in collaboration with the account managers, this also from a technical point of view
  • By participating at public tenders, you drive business growth and protect installed base to achieve the BENELUX sales target
  • Follow-up on validity of legal documents necessary for Waters participation in public tender procedures
  • Follow-up on tender publications and verification together with the account managers if Waters can participate.
  • Maintain the customer database, ensuring all relevant information is recorded in our business platform.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • BSc degree (science or business)
  • Strong interest in analytical instrumentation
  • Experience or strong interest in sales support
  • A motivated starter in sales with a strong commercial profile and motivation is possible
  • Spoken and written fluency in Dutch, French and English.
  • Results driven, self motivating, accountable and initiative orientated personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player and collaborator.
  • Prioritization, planning and organization skills.
  • Experience with analytical solutions that Waters offer (nice to have)
  • Experience with tender procedures
