Function

We have a vacancy for a leader of the team of SAP functional consultants in the domain of manufacturing within our Carpenter EMEA / APAC organization. The candidate will be responsible for managing our team of internal and external SAP consultants based in Wetteren and Poland for the modules PP, MM, QM, WM. Next to supervising this team, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation and roll out of our SAP solution, best practices and tools, in line with our template solution and organizational guidelines, in order to support the product teams with functional excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will contribute and supervise to the design, configuration, testing, implementation and maintenance of software applications mainly in the above mentioned SAP, in line with departmental guidelines, procedures and business requirements in order to meet the functional and technology needs of Carpenter Engineered Foams in support of the strategy.
  • You will lead complex applications projects, in line with internal project management methodology, standards and tools. You will ensure resource management, manage risk mitigation, manage stage-gates, stakeholder expectations, and ensure periodic reporting at all stages of the projects
  • You will be Team lead of the functional SAP manufacturing team EMEA/APAC
  • The responsibilities consist of a mix of project management, project tasks , hands-on SAP Manufacturing design and customizing.
  • You will act as a sparring partner to the business and provide advice on best practice business processes with a holistic view on their integration aspects.
  • You are willing to travel 10-25% of your time.

Your Profile

  • We are looking for someone with
  • A deep SAP consultancy experience in SAP ERP manufacturing modules for about 10 years
  • Experience with project management of complex SAP ERP application projects
  • Understanding of supply chain business processes of the discrete manufacturing industry
  • Senior level knowledge of the SAP ERP manufacturing modules on transaction-, table-, and customizing level
  • Knowledge of the interactions with other modules: SAP SD, FI, CO, BW4H; SalesForce CRM ; EDI (Seeburger)
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You can independently analyze and debug programs (basic ABAP understanding)
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are stress resistant, self-motivated and a team player
  • You have Good personal skills in communication, coordination and change management
