A leading company active in the retail sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their offices based in Brussels.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Accountant will include:

In charge of one or more accounting files
Carry out daily accounting operations or different companies within your scope
Oversee the internal and external reporting and report the figures to Interco Consolidation and Reconciliations
Responsible for the preparation of official documents such as annual accounts, management reports, etc.
In charge of monthly VAT reporting and balance sheet analysis
Follow-up various fiduciary files such as the encoding of purchase/sales invoices

Your profile:

You have a degree in Economics or Finance
You have 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting, an experience in team management is an asset
You are fluent in French, knowledge of Dutch or English is a plus

Your strengths:

Thanks to your expertise in Excel, you feel able to take the lead of the consolidation process
You are proactive and hands-on, you are solution-oriented
Through your previous experience you have built a knowledge of SAP4Hana and you are eager to join a dynamic company
