A company active in the Banking sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Auditor to join their offices in Brussels. The internal Audit mission is to contribute to the efficiency of the company’s internal controls. Thanks to your experience in finance and in audit, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in it.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Auditor will include:

  • You will participate in every part of the audit, as model risk, quantitative and model audits, from inception to completion.
  • You will lead smaller audit engagements with growing responsibilities over time.
  • You will Identify meaningful problems impacting the company and make sure you take the appropriate and corrective actions.
  • You will maintain global subject matter expertise regarding modelling/ model risk management, including practices, key control processes, regulatory requirements and their application to the Company.
  • You will be responsible for providing quantitative guidance and support to audit management and the audit team in general for any regulatory requests.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc and projects as directed by audit senior management
  • You will represent Internal Audit on projects and management meetings/committees.

Your profile:

  • You have a Master’s in quantitative discipline (such as math, financial engineering, statistics, physics) required, CQF, FRM, MBA, CPA, CIA certifications preferred.
  • You have 4 to 8 years relevant experience in model development or model validation with an interest in moving into the third line, or model audit experience.
  • You have good knowledge of prudential regulations in Europe.
  • You have good ability of the financial services industry.
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is a plus.
