Freelance Senior Network Engineer



Contract length: 12 Month Contract + extensions

Day rate: Negotiable depending on experience

Location: Diegem Belgium, Hybrid Working

Start date: ASAP

Must Speak both English and Dutch



A Belgium IT Consultancy is looking for Senior Network Engineer to work with a German logistics end client of theirs. You must be able to design, implement and manage networks such as LAN, WLAN and WAN, as well as propose improvements that improve network performance, capacity and scalability.

Key Requirements

  • 4+ years Network experience LAN/WLAN/WAN
  • Extensive knowledge of network protocols
  • Extensive knowledge of routing protocols
  • Extensive knowledge of L2/L3
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco infrastructure
  • Cisco ACI environment
  • Cisco DNAC environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Citrix ADC devices
  • CISCO CCNA/CCNP certification
  • Experience with Linux and Windows servers on the network
  • Skills to effectively communicate via oral and written communications in English

Desirables

  • Cisco CCIE/CCSE certification
  • knowledge of F5/BigIp
  • knowledge of network security
  • knowledge of system and application security
  • checkpoint FireWall R80.* expertise
  • English Fluent verbal and written.
  • Dutch Fluent verbal.

  • 2 Stages
  • 1st With Hiring manager
  • 2nd With End Client
