As a service manager you oversee and manage the service functions in Ports BE.
What do you do?
Develop and/or implement a customer service policy for the local organization.
Develop an/or implement a regional service network which includes suppliers, customer, authorities and other partners.
Find ways to measure customer satisfaction and improve service & spare parts business.
Handling face-to-face enquiries from customers.
Link between local region and factory’s.
Improve local efficiency by sharing resources (admin and field service).
Manage a team of customer service staff.
Are responsible for the daily operational business, e.g. PO approvals.
Are involved in staff recruitment and appraisals.
Adhere to and manage the approval budget.
HSE reporting and implementing measures to improve safety at work.
Ensure internal control processes.
Ensure KPI reporting and implement furhter local KPI where needed.
Understand and satisfy the customer requirements and understand their expectations.
Provide help and advice to customers using the organization products and services.
Investigate and solve customers’ problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants.
Communicate courteaously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face.
Are contact person and consultant for the customers.
Analyze statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service to improve the service quality and therewith the service sales.
Initialize corrective measures or/and improvement to increase the service sales.
Prepare and offer service contracts, retrofits, refurbishments and quotations and implement a proactive service sales approach.
Ensure timely payments of open invoices from customers according to defined KPI.

Requirements:
Technical education with commercial experience.
Proven service and leadership skills, team orientated.
Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques.
Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications.
Ability to think strategically and to lead a team.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Customer service orientation.
Self-motivated.
English language.
